The new tracking technology is Canvas fingerprinting. This completely commands on your browser window and allow drawing a unique identifier pattern on the window. This helps to get you through your online login behavior. It starts tracking at the same moment and has already tracked about users on 5% of the biggest Internet popular sites.
They include mostly the web popular sites of star bucks and white house etc. A team of academics has completed a research on this technology and it has lately revealed that canvas fingerprinting has spread to at least 5,542 sites out of web’s top 100,000 sites. The AddThis software has helped it grow that much. This search also says that explorers and trackers are being hired by the companies and employers In Canada.
Most of these include the TV station news and the immigration centers. Researchers have found 20 more fingerprinting service providers other than AddThis and then there were 11 more from the third parties. The users are being tracked through their browser cookies and site data.
