Change in Apps Development Trend With Release of Micreosoft Windows 10

Release of Microsoft Windows 8 made a great shift in the field of apps development because Microsoft gave a due importance to advance applications with its Windows store but a lot of people did not adopt that change because they were happy with classic desktop of Windows and its millions of applications. Realizing this fact, Microsoft has restored the desktop along with its classic applications on PCs in Windows 10, shifting Windows store to the desktop and allowing modern apps to run in windowed mode.

It doesn’t mean that Microsoft is throwing out the modern apps. Modern apps have numerous advantages over conventional desktop applications like; easy to display information in tiles in Start menu, better optimization for touch screens, responsive nature, advanced sharing options to transfer data between apps and a lot more.

Microsoft Windows 10 is basically a step towards a universal Windows Store Applications, enabling developers to simultaneously develop for all platforms i.e. PCs, Smartphones and tablets instead of developing separately for each one. A blend of both (desktop apps & modern apps) will be good to see in Windows 10 and that will definitely start a new era in apps development.
